About the Programme

The programme is designed to enrich technical knowledge and enhance confidence level of students and individuals in the field of Industrial Automation, Sensors, Transmitters, Controllers, PLCs and SCADA.

 

This programme will help to gain deeper understanding about the advanced technologies used in the industries. This is an in demand course that provides exposure to participants and will help in preparation of jobs in Government and Private Industries.

The training will be provided by our faculties having more than 35 years of experience in Navaratna & Maharatna companies like NALCO and NTPC.

2 Days Training Modules

Day - 1

​

  • Study of different type of sensors used in industries, working principle and application.

  • Study of different indicators, transmitters, controllers used in industries, their working principle and application.

  • Study of the closed loop Flow control of an industry by using sensors, transmitters, and PID controllers.

  • Study of Environmental Pollution Control technologies, pollution monitoring analysers.

Day - 2

​

  • Introduction to PLC, PLC hardware, PLC wiring & instructions.

  • PLC programming (Ladder Logic) - Understanding Input Output, Latch, Unlatch bits, On delay timer, Off delay timer, Counters etc.

  • Understanding the material handling & proportioning system process flow diagram of an industry and PLC programminig for process. SCADA, PLC interfacing and application.

  • IOT, Data Transmission and industrial digitisation & CCTV.

Vocational Training Modules

       We have designed to conduct vocational summer training on request basis. The interested engineering students can utilize their vacation as a part of their course curriculum/ enrich their knowledge to next level.  This training Programme will be conducted in our fully equipped training hall located inside Esplanade One Mall office premises, Bhubaneswar. The practical sessions shall be conducted by taking the students for field visit to our plant and laboratory near Khurda to gain practical experience on operation of different machineries/ equipment, recycling of E-Waste & Plastic Waste, Electrical Power Distribution, Signal Converters, Data Transmission etc.

    The training classes will be conducted by our industry experts who have more than 30 years of experience in the Navaratna & Maharatna companies like NALCO and NTPC. Both the above training modules will enhance the confidence level and technical knowledge of the participants and will help them to gain a deeper understanding about the advanced technologies used in the industries. This will also help the engineering students to face upcoming interviews inside the campus and also off the campus.
